Having traded in my running shoes for football studs at an early age, I went on to lead my school team as a centre forward. After dabbling in various sports, I finally chose to pursue my lifelong fascination with tennis and worked my way up to the national circuit. An ardent admirer of wide, open spaces, I have committed myself to the revival of outdoor games and recreation, and to ensuring that every child enjoys the opportunity to play their heart out.
The Journey
I set out post-studies in 2003. From interning at an accounting firm for a month to working night shifts at a call centre for over a year and from running an entertainment company for four years to taking up content-based projects over the next five years — it’s been one helluva ride! As I juggled work and play, covering wide swathes of our incredible country, I touched down with a creative work stint in Singapore — and for all of this, I am forever grateful. Here below are some ups and downs along the way:
First Serve:
95% in English Language & Literature at the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (I.C.S.E);
the highest result recorded that year
(1998)
Second Serve:
Certified in Cinematography at New York University (NYU)
(2007)
Landing on the Front Foot:
All India Tennis Association (AITA) Player
(2009)

Unforced Errors:
Not to mention the numerous monetary pitfalls associated with sports, my general lack of financial know-how, several declined work applications, sporadic work opportunities, and years and years of cleared loans along the way.
Standing by the Hits & Misses:
A roller coaster ride of odd-jobs and experiences en route — persevering through the highs and lows, to be here today, it’s been ALL worth it!
